Last week I finished the star blocks for this quilt but realized I didn't have enough white kona cotton for sashing. So I ordered the white kona and waited...
Then I chain pieced a whole bunch of 2 1/2 inch squares together.
Then I mixed them all up in a basket and pieced them once more.
It's a good thing all the colors go together. Last week a very nice landscape designer lady told me the blue plant I liked didn't go well with all the yellow of our house. Why is it that blue and yellow don't play well together? I feel all the colors would get along just fine if people gave them a chance.
Then the white kona arrived in the mail. And it, too, wanted to play with all these colors. So I let it - encouraged it even. I'll share more on this quilt top soon. But I've been busy taking dozens of photos of my kiddos because yesterday Ezra turned 14 and the years are flying by.
And I don't want to miss these moments.
Still playing with the maco lens rather than reading the manual.
A big thanks to Jane for letting me know that macros take great kiddo photos.
Hope to be back here real soon.
In the meantime, do what you love. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. And remember that all the colors go together - no matter what anyone else says.
Naturally you might have manufactured that concur. Purpose very good, that will agree on individuals. nike air max http://www.sydgate.com/
