Valentine's Day 2013 in pictures:
On this Valentine's I took pictures.
Abby went off to school with a bag full of Valentine's cards, candy and small gifts.
Ezra and David are in middle school and no longer exchange cards or candy in school so they have to settle for the cookies and brownies that mama bakes.
Above photos of plastic rings are from Target. $1.50 for a pack of eight. Abby asked that we buy some for her girlfriends. There were three left and they are so lovely when the sun hit them that I couldn't stop photographing them.
Martha Stewart's heart sandwich cookies were beautiful but not terribly flavorful. The chocolate were much better than the pink sugar variety. They were, however, a ton of fun to gift to friends and neighbors!
There were hearts in my ivy plant and pink streaks in the sky. It was a wonderful day!
I bought myself red tulips from trader joe's for $4.00.
Greg bought me what I really wanted for Valentine's. (I had to tell him what I wanted ahead of time but after nearly twenty one years of marriage we are both just fine with that) And now I cannot stop smelling myself - and i'm just fine with that too!
The morning after shot...
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Your Valentine's Day looks just lovely--and good for you for making sure your gift was just what you wanted. It's so silly to waste time and money hoping you've bought the right thing when you could just ask or tell! Beautiful pictures!

What a great day! Glad it was full of love and sunshine too! Love that you got the perfume you really wanted...I'm sure Greg is loving it too! Hope your weekend is a great one, full of time to relax and recharge! Oh, and that coffee that I like...there are a ton of different flavors, but my favorite is the Cafe Francais....it's not too sweet and I've been drinking it for years and I'm still not tired of it!
