It's rainy and gray outside.
But indoors it truly feels like Spring because I'm...
Picking flowers,
Cutting flowers,
Pressing flowers, and
Arranging flowers.
All these strips will become a nine-patch quilt like this one. I'll share how to make quick and easy nine-patch blocks next week. And the squares will be pieced together like this. But for now I want to focus on play - we have lots planned for this weekend including taekwondo practice, swimming with friends, and a birthday at the park. Have a wonderful weekend!
{Updated on 3/28: Most of the above fabrics are from Garden Party by Anna Maria Horner, Midwest Modern by Amy Butler, and Pop Garden by Heather Bailey. The strips are 3" cut selvage to selvage and the squares are 9" square. Plus - I'm offering two sets of fabric bundles for my Stashing Treasures Play Apron as part of Rhythm of the Home's sponsorship giveaway on SouleMama - head on over and check it out for a chance to win!}
Oh my GOSH, what a stunning collection of prints.
You really have an eye, my girl.
Have a wonderful, play filled weekend!

You have the best eye for fabric. It's always fun looking at your combinations. I always seem to gravitate to the same-old designs, but you're giving me more confidence to try something new.

Well. I just cam over to your blog through a link from A Friend to Knit With, and since I am in the midst of my first quilt, I think I have found you just in time. I'm going to really enjoy reading back through your previous posts and learning from you. Thanks for being out there.
