Because this week has been very busy.
Banana berry smoothies after breakfast to give us...
Energy for swim team practice.
And swim lessons.
Then home for lunch. Bagel and avocado with tomato for mom and homemade pizza for the kiddos.
Then outside to paint.
And play with guinea pigs.
And worms...
But not if they prove "too slimy!"
In the afternoon we drive to taekwondo. Here we practice kicking...
And more kicking...
And even more kicking.
We also learn forms...
and weapons.
And then we head home and make dinner, eat, bathe, brush, read until mom says no more reading, and go to bed.
Blog friends, I'm here reading your blogs and trying to find a bit of time to make something in order to stay sane, but our summer days are packed and the kiddos want me "present" all the time. But I have to admit that my kiddos say the darnest things and are such a pleasure to be with that I don't mind all the driving, non-stop talking, and incessant crafts. Who was it that said: With kids the days go by slowly, but the years pass by quickly.
what a lovely present post.
your most important 'project'- those kiddos.
looks like you're all enjoying a great summer.

It's true - being a mother is the hardest job you'll ever love! Enjoy your summer.

Those guys are your most valuable asset! Your time with them will pay off so much more than a new quilt or sweater ever could. Good for you that you're taking advantage of this whisper that summer is to be in the moment with your kiddos. I love seeing the things that you all are doing. This was a great post! Thanks for sharing.
