It's Friday!
And time to reflect upon the week...
I began a new cardi that I think I may actually wear.
I opened the last jar of freezer jam - and this weekend I have plans to make lots more.
I ate a yummy summer salad.
papaya
avocado
grapefruit
lots of freshly squeezed lime juice
salt
I took the kiddos to the library and found these for 25 cents each.
I had never heard of these or the knitting guild association that publishes them. Have you seen these before? Do you know anyone who belongs to the guild? I will be conducting a google search tonight.
Each magazine contains about fifteen patterns - many of which are not my style... but I will be knitting this cute shrug.
I enjoyed watching my mother's day roses bud and bloom.
I could not bring myself to pull and toss the last of the pansies - especially since I so love watching the blooms unfold each morning.
I watched Remy bask in the sunshine with that huge smile on his face.
Pure joy.
While Sally likes to chew on a stick in the shade.
TGIF and whether you love to bask in the sun or relax in the shade (sans stick, of course) I wish you a lovely weekend.
As for me, I'll be knitting in the shade with screaming and chasing kiddos all around and Sally at my feet. Pure joy.
sally is a dog after my own heart! :)

What fun! I definitely see freezer jam in our future too-we just used our last jar! Amazing how these things last just long enough :)
